Can Caffeine Help with my Dry Eyes?

Great News for all my fellow Coffee drinkers.

A new study shows that caffeine can increase tear production and may one day be a viable treatment for Dry Eye Syndrome. Quick, all my coffee drinkers rejoice! Now to curb the excitement just a bit, its estimated that caffeine only affects fifty percent of all people, I know this all too well since some of my relatives can gulp down a cup of joe right before bedtime and not have it affect them at all, not  fair. All this makes sense, since caffeine is a stimulant after all, but what am I not remembering about coffee, and its other benefits to the eye?

I guess I will have to continue what’s great about coffee when I'm a little more awake . I may need a cup of something uplifting.
